If you were a dog, what breed would you be and why?

Beagle! They are playful & loyal. I would also love to have their incredible sense of smell.

What made you interested in pet care?

My own cats & dogs have brought me joy since childhood, and I love meeting new ones! Also, when I travel, I worry about my cats being well cared for, so I hope to bring peace of mind to others who want to ensure their pets are in good hands.

What do you do when you’re not pet sitting or dog walking?

Math teacher, mom to two young adults

What’s your favorite part of pet care?

Cuddling friendly cats & spending time outdoors with lively dogs

What’s the funniest or most memorable experience you’ve had while on the job?

It wasn't funny until I figured out what to do, but I visited a cat who was very anxious & attacked my ankles when I wasn't petting her, even for a few seconds. I figured out to wear rain boots during my visits. Then I could scoop the litter box, sweep up, and tend to other tasks without fear of injury.

What’s the most rewarding part of your job?

Getting appreciative feedback from the pets and their owners. (Expressed in different ways!)
